Paul Ocen Okiror serves as My Child Your Child Ministries Founder & Executive Director, overseeing the organisation’s work for children and youth in Uganda.
Paul Ocen Okiror brings to the role decades of experience in working with Churches and Communities caring for the needy with a focus on empowering underserved communities while developing high-impact policies and programmes to support vulnerable children and youth, including in humanitarian crises. He has extensive experience building and managing diverse workforces, as well as mobilizing resources and support for a broad range of initiatives.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Makerere University in Uganda.
He studied Theology in Calvary Chapel Bible College Uganda.
He studied courses regarding child protection as well as the Model Children’s Worker Course.
An effective communicator of God’s Word, Paul Ocen Okiror being a Children’s Pastor at Calvary Chapel Kampala is widely known for his practical and dynamic teaching style which helps children apply the timeless truths of scripture to their everyday lives. He has taught hundreds of Sunday School Teachers from various Churches in different regions of Uganda the most effective ways of teaching Children that lead to life change and transformation in JESUS CHRIST.
He is also a play writer who has written several Christmas plays, Easter plays as well as an HIV/ AIDS play called “Mama African”.
In addition to being a writer, Paul Ocen Okiror is a gospel artist who has written and sung several gospel songs as well as an HIV/ AIDS song called “AIDS How May Times”.
Paul Ocen Okiror is a father and his daughter is called Christine Aminat Ocen.
His favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 which states, “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
